Hello there!

My name is Katy Parker and I'm the owner of Wild Cedar Photography.

I grew up in small town Kansas, where I spent countless days carrying around my mom's old camera, taking pictures of just about everything. I wasn't very good at first, and I definitely didn't know what I was doing, but I loved preserving moments. As I got older, I spent years taking photos on my phone before finally picking up a camera and turning that passion into something more.

These days, you'll find me exploring Kansas with my fiancé, Ben, and our golden retriever, Cedar - the inspiration behind my business name. Family, faith, and community are at the heart of who I am, and they're the reason I love photography so much.

My goal isn't just to take pretty pictures. It's to capture the moments you'll want to look back on years from now. The laughter, the quiet in between moments, and the people who matter most.

Whether we're wandering through a prairie at sunset, walking along the lake, or meeting in your hometown, I want your session to feel relaxed, fun, and true to you.
